תהילים 85

לַמְנַצֵּחַ לִבְנֵי־קֹרַח מִזְמוֹר׃

Lamnatzei'ach livnei Korach mizmor.

For the leader. Of the Korahites. A psalm.

רָצִיתָ יְהוָה אַרְצֶךָ שַׁבְתָּ שְׁבִית יַעֲקֹב׃

Ratzita Adonai artzecha, shavta shevit Ya'akov.

O LORD, You have been gracious to Your land, You have restored the fortunes of Jacob.

נָשָׂאתָ עֲוֺן עַמֶּךָ כִּסִּיתָ כָל־חַטָּאתָם סֶלָה׃

Nasata avon amecha, kisita kol chatatam sela.

You have forgiven the iniquity of Your people, You have covered all their sins. Selah.

אָסַפְתָּ כָל־עֶבְרָתֶךָ הֱשִׁיבוֹתָ מֵחֲרוֹן אַפֶּךָ׃

Asafta kol evratecha, heshivota mecharon apecha.

You have withdrawn all Your fury, You have turned back from Your burning anger.

שׁוּבֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ וְהָפֵר כַּעַסְךָ עִמָּנוּ׃

Shuvenu Elohei yish'enu, vehafer ka'ascha imanu.

Turn again, O God, our helper, and revoke Your displeasure with us.

הַלְעוֹלָם תֶּאֱנַף־בָּנוּ תִּמְשֹׁךְ אַפְּךָ לְדֹר וָדֹר׃

Hale'olam te'enaf banu, timshoch apcha ledor vador.

Will You be angry with us forever, prolong Your wrath for all generations?

הֲלֹא־אַתָּה תָּשׁוּב תְּחַיֵּנוּ וְעַמְּךָ יִשְׂמְחוּ־בָךְ׃

Halo Ata tashuv techayenu, ve'amcha yismechu vach.

Surely You will revive us again, so that Your people may rejoice in You.

הַרְאֵנוּ יְהוָה חַסְדֶּךָ וְיֶשְׁעֲךָ תִּתֶּן־לָנוּ׃

Har'enu Adonai chasdecha, veyish'acha titen lanu.

Show us, O LORD, Your faithful love; grant us Your deliverance.

אֶשְׁמְעָה מַה־יְדַבֵּר הָאֵל יְהוָה כִּי יְדַבֵּר שָׁלוֹם אֶל־עַמּוֹ וְאֶל־חֲסִידָיו וְאַל־יָשׁוּבוּ לְכִסְלָה׃

Eshme'a ma yedaber ha'El Adonai, ki yedaber shalom el amo ve'el chasidav, ve'al yashuvu lechisla.

Let me hear what God the LORD will speak; He will promise well-being to His people, His faithful ones; may they not turn to folly.

אַךְ קָרוֹב לִירֵאָיו יִשְׁעוֹ לִשְׁכֹּן כָּבוֹד בְּאַרְצֵנוּ׃

Ach karov lire'av yish'o, lishkon kavod be'artzenu.

Deliverance is near those who fear Him, that glory may dwell in our land.

חֶסֶד־וֶאֱמֶת נִפְגָּשׁוּ צֶדֶק וְשָׁלוֹם נָשָׁקוּ׃

Chesed ve'emet nifgashu, tzedek veshalom nashaku.

Faithfulness and truth meet; justice and well-being kiss.

אֱמֶת מֵאֶרֶץ תִּצְמָח וְצֶדֶק מִשָּׁמַיִם נִשְׁקָף׃

Emet me'eretz titzmach, vetzedek mishamayim nishkaf.

Truth springs up from the earth; righteousness looks down from heaven.

גַּם־יְהוָה יִתֵּן הַטּוֹב וְאַרְצֵנוּ תִּתֵּן יְבוּלָהּ׃

Gam Adonai yiten hatov, ve'artzenu titen yevulah.

The LORD will also give what is good, and our land shall yield its produce.

צֶדֶק לְפָנָיו יְהַלֵּךְ וְיָשֵׂם לְדֶרֶךְ פְּעָמָיו׃

Tzedek lefanav yehalech, veyasem lederech pe'amav.

Righteousness shall go before Him as He sets out on His way.
