The Infinite Power of Tehillim
Tehillim (Psalms of David) are not ordinary prayers. They represent the quintessence of all forms of communication with the Divine ā praise, supplication, gratitude, confession, and meditation combined into one sacred text. King David, through divine inspiration, captured every possible human emotion and spiritual need within these 150 chapters.
Unlike other prayers, Tehillim can be sung, chanted, whispered, or read silently ā each method carrying its own spiritual power. The Zohar teaches that when one recites Tehillim, they open gates in Heaven that no other prayer can open. This is why Jews throughout history have turned to Psalms in times of joy and sorrow, health and illness, abundance and need.
