Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Tehillim.Site
Tehillim.Site is a modern digital platform for creating personalized prayers and segulot based on Tehillim (Psalms of David). The platform automatically elevates your prayers throughout the day, combining ancient spiritual wisdom with modern technology. Watch the process on our Live page.
Tehillim, also known as the Book of Psalms, are 150 sacred songs and prayers written primarily by King David. They have been recited for thousands of years for spiritual protection, healing, success, and connection with the Divine. Browse all 150 Psalms divided into 15 sections, each with associated segulot.
Segulot are spiritual remedies rooted in Jewish tradition. Each psalm in Tehillim is associated with specific segulot ā for example, protection from the evil eye, healing, success in business, finding a soulmate, and many more. When you create a prayer, you can select specific segulot that match your needs.
Psalm 119 is the longest chapter in Tehillim with 176 verses, organized into 22 sections ā one for each letter of the Hebrew alphabet. This unique structure allows for personalized prayers based on the letters of your Hebrew name. When you create a Psalm 119 prayer, the system selects the specific verses that correspond to your name's letters, creating a deeply personal spiritual connection. For example, if your name starts with Aleph (×), verses 1-8 are recited for you. See David's 119 Psalm prayer as an example.
Once a prayer is created on Tehillim.Site, it enters our system and is automatically 'elevated' ā meaning the associated psalms are programmatically recited on behalf of and in the merit of the person named in the prayer. This happens continuously, at least once per day. Watch this process in real-time on our Live page or browse all active prayers.
Creating a prayer is simple: visit our Create page, enter the Hebrew name (use our Transliterator if needed), select the purpose (segula) of your prayer, and submit. New prayers include up to 13 psalms and require admin approval. Once someone supports your prayer, all 150 psalms become linked to it.
When you create a new prayer, it starts with up to 13 psalms and awaits admin approval. When you support an existing prayer, you strengthen its elevation and unlock the full power of all 150 psalms for that prayer. Supporting prayers for others is considered as powerful as praying for yourself.
Yes! If a prayer already exists for someone with the same name, you can support that prayer to strengthen its elevation. When multiple people join a prayer, its spiritual power is amplified. Browse existing prayers and find ones that resonate with you.
All content is available in both Hebrew (the original language of Tehillim) and English. Each prayer includes the Hebrew text, English transliteration (use our Transliterator tool to convert text), and audio recordings in Hebrew so you can follow along with traditional pronunciation.
