תהילים 65

לַמְנַצֵּחַ מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד שִׁיר׃

Lamnatzei'ach mizmor leDavid shir.

For the leader. A psalm of David. A song.

לְךָ דֻמִיָּה תְהִלָּה אֱלֹהִים בְּצִיּוֹן וּלְךָ יְשֻׁלַּם־נֶדֶר׃

Lecha dumiya tehila Elohim beTziyon, ulcha yeshulam neder.

Praise befits You in Zion, O God; vows are paid to You;

שֹׁמֵעַ תְּפִלָּה עָדֶיךָ כָּל־בָּשָׂר יָבֹאוּ׃

Shome'a tefila adecha kol basar yavo'u.

all flesh comes to You, You who hear prayer.

דִּבְרֵי עֲוֺנֹת גָּבְרוּ מֶנִּי פְּשָׁעֵינוּ אַתָּה תְכַפְּרֵם׃

Divrei avonot gavru meni, pesha'einu Ata techaprem.

When all manner of sins overwhelm me, it is You who forgive our iniquities.

אַשְׁרֵי תִּבְחַר וּתְקָרֵב יִשְׁכֹּן חֲצֵרֶיךָ נִשְׂבְּעָה בְּטוּב בֵּיתֶךָ קְדֹשׁ הֵיכָלֶךָ׃

Ashrei tivchar utkarev yishkon chatzerecha, nisbe'a betuv beitecha kedosh heichalecha.

Happy is the one You choose and bring near to dwell in Your courts; may we be sated with the bounty of Your house, Your holy temple.

נוֹרָאוֹת בְּצֶדֶק תַּעֲנֵנוּ אֱלֹהֵי יִשְׁעֵנוּ מִבְטָח כָּל־קַצְוֵי־אֶרֶץ וְיָם רְחֹקִים׃

Nora'ot betzedek ta'anenu Elohei yish'enu, mivtach kol katzvei eretz veyam rechokim.

Answer us with wondrous deeds of deliverance, O God of our salvation, You in whom all the ends of the earth and distant seas put their trust,

מֵכִין הָרִים בְּכֹחוֹ נֶאְזָר בִּגְבוּרָה׃

Mechin harim bekocho ne'ezar bigvura.

who by Your power establish the mountains, girded with might,

מַשְׁבִּיחַ שְׁאוֹן יַמִּים שְׁאוֹן גַּלֵּיהֶם וַהֲמוֹן לְאֻמִּים׃

Mashbi'ach she'on yamim she'on galeihem, vahamon le'umim.

who still the raging seas, the raging waves, and the tumult of peoples.

וַיִּירְאוּ יֹשְׁבֵי קְצָווֹת מֵאוֹתֹתֶיךָ מוֹצָאֵי בֹקֶר וָעֶרֶב תַּרְנִין׃

Vayir'u yoshvei ketzavot me'ototecha, motza'ei voker va'erev tarnin.

Those who live at the ends of the earth are awed by Your signs; You make the lands of sunrise and sunset shout for joy.

פָּקַדְתָּ הָאָרֶץ וַתְּשֹׁקְקֶהָ רַבַּת תַּעְשְׁרֶנָּה פֶּלֶג אֱלֹהִים מָלֵא מָיִם תָּכִין דְּגָנָם כִּי־כֵן תְּכִינֶהָ׃

Pakadta ha'aretz vateshokkeha rabat ta'ashrena, peleg Elohim male mayim, tachin deganam ki chen techineha.

You take care of the earth and water it abundantly; You greatly enrich it; the channel of God is full of water; You provide grain for them; for so You have established it.

תְּלָמֶיהָ רַוֵּה נַחֵת גְּדוּדֶיהָ בִּרְבִיבִים תְּמֹגְגֶנָּה צִמְחָהּ תְּבָרֵךְ׃

Telameha rave nachet gedudeha, birvivim temogegena tzimcha tevarech.

You water its furrows, smooth its ridges; You soften it with showers, bless its growth.

עִטַּרְתָּ שְׁנַת טוֹבָתֶךָ וּמַעְגָּלֶיךָ יִרְעֲפוּן דָּשֶׁן׃

Itarta shenat tovatecha, uma'galecha yir'afun dashen.

You crown the year with Your bounty; fatness is distilled in Your paths;

יִרְעֲפוּ נְאוֹת מִדְבָּר וְגִיל גְּבָעוֹת תַּחְגֹּרְנָה׃

Yir'afu ne'ot midbar, vegil geva'ot tachgorna.

the pastures of the wilderness drip; the hills are girded with joy.

לָבְשׁוּ כָרִים הַצֹּאן וַעֲמָקִים יַעַטְפוּ־בָר יִתְרוֹעֲעוּ אַף־יָשִׁירוּ׃

Lavshu charim hatzon, va'amakim ya'atfu var, yitro'a'u af yashiru.

The meadows are clothed with flocks, the valleys mantled with grain; they raise a shout, they break into song.
