תהילים 147

הַלְלוּ־יָהּ כִּי־טוֹב זַמְּרָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ כִּי־נָעִים נָאוָה תְהִלָּה׃

Halelu-Yah, ki tov zamra Eloheinu, ki na'im nava tehila.

Praise the LORD. How good it is to sing praises to our God, how pleasant and fitting to praise Him!

בּוֹנֵה יְרוּשָׁלַיִם יְהוָה נִדְחֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל יְכַנֵּס׃

Boneh Yerushalayim Adonai, nidchei Yisrael yechanes.

The LORD builds up Jerusalem; He gathers the exiles of Israel.

הָרֹפֵא לִשְׁבוּרֵי לֵב וּמְחַבֵּשׁ לְעַצְּבוֹתָם׃

Harofe lishvurei lev, umechabesh le'atzvotam.

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

מוֹנֶה מִסְפָּר לַכּוֹכָבִים לְכֻלָּם שֵׁמוֹת יִקְרָא׃

Moneh mispar lakochavim, lechulam shemot yikra.

He determines the number of the stars and calls them each by name.

גָּדוֹל אֲדוֹנֵינוּ וְרַב־כֹּחַ לִתְבוּנָתוֹ אֵין מִסְפָּר׃

Gadol Adoneinu verav ko'ach, litvunato ein mispar.

Great is our Lord and mighty in power; His understanding has no limit.

מְעוֹדֵד עֲנָוִים יְהוָה מַשְׁפִּיל רְשָׁעִים עֲדֵי־אָרֶץ׃

Me'oded anavim Adonai, mashpil resha'im adei aretz.

The LORD sustains the humble but casts the wicked to the ground.

עֱנוּ לַיהוָה בְּתוֹדָה זַמְּרוּ לֵאלֹהֵינוּ בְכִנּוֹר׃

Enu laAdonai betoda, zamru lEloheinu vechinor.

Sing to the LORD with grateful praise; make music to our God on the harp.

הַמְכַסֶּה שָׁמַיִם בְּעָבִים הַמֵּכִין לָאָרֶץ מָטָר הַמַּצְמִיחַ הָרִים חָצִיר׃

Hamechaseh shamayim be'avim, hamechin la'aretz matar, hamatzmi'ach harim chatzir.

He covers the sky with clouds; He supplies the earth with rain and makes grass grow on the hills.

נוֹתֵן לִבְהֵמָה לַחְמָהּ לִבְנֵי עֹרֵב אֲשֶׁר יִקְרָאוּ׃

Noten livhema lachma, livnei orev asher yikra'u.

He provides food for the cattle and for the young ravens when they call.

לֹא בִגְבוּרַת הַסּוּס יֶחְפָּץ לֹא־בְשׁוֹקֵי הָאִישׁ יִרְצֶה׃

Lo vigvurat hasus yechpatz, lo beshokei ha'ish yirtze.

His pleasure is not in the strength of the horse, nor His delight in the legs of the warrior;

רוֹצֶה יְהוָה אֶת־יְרֵאָיו אֶת־הַמְיַחֲלִים לְחַסְדּוֹ׃

Rotze Adonai et yere'av, et hamyachalim lechasdo.

the LORD delights in those who fear Him, who put their hope in His unfailing love.

שַׁבְּחִי יְרוּשָׁלַיִם אֶת־יְהוָה הַלְלִי אֱלֹהַיִךְ צִיּוֹן׃

Shabchi Yerushalayim et Adonai, haleli Elohayich Tziyon.

Extol the LORD, Jerusalem; praise your God, Zion.

כִּי־חִזַּק בְּרִיחֵי שְׁעָרָיִךְ בֵּרַךְ בָּנַיִךְ בְּקִרְבֵּךְ׃

Ki chizak berichei she'arayich, berach banayich bekirbech.

He strengthens the bars of your gates and blesses your people within you.

הַשָּׂם־גְּבוּלֵךְ שָׁלוֹם חֵלֶב חִטִּים יַשְׂבִּיעֵךְ׃

Hasam gevulech shalom, chelev chitim yasbi'ech.

He grants peace to your borders and satisfies you with the finest of wheat.

הַשֹּׁלֵחַ אִמְרָתוֹ אָרֶץ עַד־מְהֵרָה יָרוּץ דְּבָרוֹ׃

Hashole'ach imrato aretz, ad mehera yarutz devaro.

He sends His command to the earth; His word runs swiftly.

הַנֹּתֵן שֶׁלֶג כַּצָּמֶר כְּפוֹר כָּאֵפֶר יְפַזֵּר׃

Hanoten sheleg katzamer, kefor ka'efer yefazer.

He spreads the snow like wool and scatters the frost like ashes.

מַשְׁלִיךְ קַרְחוֹ כְפִתִּים לִפְנֵי קָרָתוֹ מִי יַעֲמֹד׃

Mashlich karcho chefitim, lifnei karato mi ya'amod.

He hurls down His hail like pebbles. Who can withstand His icy blast?

יִשְׁלַח דְּבָרוֹ וְיַמְסֵם יַשֵּׁב רוּחוֹ יִזְּלוּ־מָיִם׃

Yishlach devaro veyamsem, yashev rucho yizlu mayim.

He sends His word and melts them; He stirs up His breezes, and the waters flow.

מַגִּיד דְּבָרָיו לְיַעֲקֹב חֻקָּיו וּמִשְׁפָּטָיו לְיִשְׂרָאֵל׃

Magid devarav leYa'akov, chukav umishpatav leYisrael.

He has revealed His word to Jacob, His laws and decrees to Israel.

לֹא עָשָׂה כֵן לְכָל־גּוֹי וּמִשְׁפָּטִים בַּל־יְדָעוּם הַלְלוּ־יָהּ׃

Lo asa chen lechol goy, umishpatim bal yeda'um, Halelu-Yah.

He has done this for no other nation; they do not know His laws. Praise the LORD.
