תהילים 108

שִׁיר מִזְמוֹר לְדָוִד׃

Shir mizmor leDavid.

A song. A psalm of David.

נָכוֹן לִבִּי אֱלֹהִים אָשִׁירָה וַאֲזַמְּרָה אַף־כְּבוֹדִי׃

Nachon libi Elohim, ashira va'azamera, af kevodi.

My heart is firm, O God; I will sing and chant a hymn with all my being.

עוּרָה הַנֵּבֶל וְכִנּוֹר אָעִירָה שָּׁחַר׃

Ura hanevel vechinor, a'ira shachar.

Awake, O harp and lyre! I will wake the dawn.

אוֹדְךָ בָעַמִּים יְהוָה וַאֲזַמֶּרְךָ בַּלְאֻמִּים׃

Odcha va'amim Adonai, va'azamercha bal'umim.

I will praise You among the peoples, O LORD; I will sing a hymn to You among the nations;

כִּי־גָדוֹל מֵעַל־שָׁמַיִם חַסְדֶּךָ וְעַד־שְׁחָקִים אֲמִתֶּךָ׃

Ki gadol me'al shamayim chasdecha, ve'ad shechkim amitecha.

for Your faithfulness is higher than the heavens; Your steadfast love is as high as the sky.

רוּמָה עַל־שָׁמַיִם אֱלֹהִים וְעַל כָּל־הָאָרֶץ כְּבוֹדֶךָ׃

Ruma al shamayim Elohim, ve'al kol ha'aretz kevodecha.

Exalt Yourself over the heavens, O God; let Your glory be over all the earth!

לְמַעַן יֵחָלְצוּן יְדִידֶיךָ הוֹשִׁיעָה יְמִינְךָ וַעֲנֵנִי׃

Lema'an yechaltzun yedidecha, hoshi'a yemincha va'aneni.

That those dear to You may be rescued, deliver with Your right hand and answer me.

אֱלֹהִים דִּבֶּר בְּקָדְשׁוֹ אֶעְלֹזָה אֲחַלְּקָה שְׁכֶם וְעֵמֶק סֻכּוֹת אֲמַדֵּד׃

Elohim diber bekadsho, e'eloza, achalka Shechem ve'emek Sukkot amaded.

God promised in His sanctuary; I will exult, I will divide up Shechem, and measure the Valley of Succoth.

לִי גִלְעָד לִי מְנַשֶּׁה וְאֶפְרַיִם מָעוֹז רֹאשִׁי יְהוּדָה מְחֹקְקִי׃

Li Gil'ad li Menashe, ve'Efrayim ma'oz roshi, Yehuda mechokeki.

Gilead is Mine, Manasseh is Mine, Ephraim is my chief stronghold, Judah my scepter;

מוֹאָב סִיר רַחְצִי עַל־אֱדוֹם אַשְׁלִיךְ נַעֲלִי עֲלֵי־פְלֶשֶׁת אֶתְרוֹעָע׃

Moav sir rachatzi, al Edom ashlich na'ali, alei Peleshet etro'a.

Moab is my washbowl; I will cast my shoe on Edom; I will shout in triumph over Philistia.

מִי יֹבִלֵנִי עִיר מִבְצָר מִי נָחַנִי עַד־אֱדוֹם׃

Mi yovileni ir mivtzar, mi nachani ad Edom.

Who will bring me to the fortified city? Who will lead me to Edom?

הֲלֹא־אֱלֹהִים זְנַחְתָּנוּ וְלֹא־תֵצֵא אֱלֹהִים בְּצִבְאוֹתֵינוּ׃

Halo Elohim zenachtanu, velo tetze Elohim betzivoteinu.

Have You not, O God, rejected us? God, You do not march with our armies.

הָבָה־לָּנוּ עֶזְרָת מִצָּר וְשָׁוְא תְּשׁוּעַת אָדָם׃

Hava lanu ezrat mitzar, veshav teshu'at adam.

Grant us Your aid against the foe, for the help of man is worthless.

בֵּאלֹהִים נַעֲשֶׂה־חָיִל וְהוּא יָבוּס צָרֵינוּ׃

BElohim na'aseh chayil, vehu yavus tzareinu.

With God we shall triumph; He will trample our foes.
