תהילים פרק צ״ז

יְהוָה מָלָךְ תָּגֵל הָאָרֶץ יִשְׂמְחוּ אִיִּים רַבִּים׃

Adonai malach tagel ha'aretz, yismechu iyim rabim.

The LORD is king! Let the earth exult, let the many islands rejoice!

עָנָן וַעֲרָפֶל סְבִיבָיו צֶדֶק וּמִשְׁפָּט מְכוֹן כִּסְאוֹ׃

Anan va'arafel sevivav, tzedek umishpat mechon kis'o.

Dense clouds are around Him, righteousness and justice are the base of His throne.

אֵשׁ לְפָנָיו תֵּלֵךְ וּתְלַהֵט סָבִיב צָרָיו׃

Esh lefanav telech, utelahet saviv tzarav.

Fire goes before Him, and consumes His foes on every side.

הֵאִירוּ בְרָקָיו תֵּבֵל רָאֲתָה וַתָּחֵל הָאָרֶץ׃

He'iru verakav tevel, ra'ata vatachel ha'aretz.

His lightnings light up the world; the earth sees and trembles.

הָרִים כַּדּוֹנַג נָמַסּוּ מִלִּפְנֵי יְהוָה מִלִּפְנֵי אֲדוֹן כָּל־הָאָרֶץ׃

Harim kadonag namasu milifnei Adonai, milifnei Adon kol ha'aretz.

Mountains melt like wax before the LORD, before the Lord of all the earth.

הִגִּידוּ הַשָּׁמַיִם צִדְקוֹ וְרָאוּ כָל־הָעַמִּים כְּבוֹדוֹ׃

Higidu hashamayim tzidko, vera'u kol ha'amim kevodo.

The heavens proclaim His righteousness, and all peoples see His glory.

יֵבֹשׁוּ כָּל־עֹבְדֵי פֶסֶל הַמִּתְהַלְלִים בָּאֱלִילִים הִשְׁתַּחֲווּ־לוֹ כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃

Yevoshu kol ovdei fesel, hamithalelim ba'elilim, hishtachavu lo kol elohim.

All who worship images, who vaunt their idols, are put to shame; all divine beings bow down to Him.

שָׁמְעָה וַתִּשְׂמַח צִיּוֹן וַתָּגֵלְנָה בְּנוֹת יְהוּדָה לְמַעַן מִשְׁפָּטֶיךָ יְהוָה׃

Sham'a vatismach Tziyon, vatagelnah benot Yehuda lema'an mishpatecha Adonai.

Zion, hearing it, rejoices, the towns of Judah exult, because of Your judgments, O LORD.

כִּי־אַתָּה יְהוָה עֶלְיוֹן עַל־כָּל־הָאָרֶץ מְאֹד נַעֲלֵיתָ עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃

Ki Ata Adonai Elyon al kol ha'aretz, me'od na'aleita al kol elohim.

For You, LORD, are supreme over all the earth; You are exalted high above all divine beings.

אֹהֲבֵי יְהוָה שִׂנְאוּ רָע שֹׁמֵר נַפְשׁוֹת חֲסִידָיו מִיַּד רְשָׁעִים יַצִּילֵם׃

Ohavei Adonai sin'u ra, shomer nafshot chasidav, miyad resha'im yatzilem.

O you who love the LORD, hate evil! He guards the lives of His loyal ones, saving them from the hand of the wicked.

אוֹר זָרֻעַ לַצַּדִּיק וּלְיִשְׁרֵי־לֵב שִׂמְחָה׃

Or zaru'a latzadik, uleyishrei lev simcha.

Light is sown for the righteous, joy for the upright.

שִׂמְחוּ צַדִּיקִים בַּיהוָה וְהוֹדוּ לְזֵכֶר קָדְשׁוֹ׃

Simchu tzadikim baAdonai, vehodu lezecher kodsho.

O you righteous, rejoice in the LORD and acclaim His holy name!
