תהילים פרק צ״ה

לְכוּ נְרַנְּנָה לַיהוָה נָרִיעָה לְצוּר יִשְׁעֵנוּ׃

Lechu neranena laAdonai, nari'a letzur yish'enu.

Come, let us sing joyously to the LORD, raise a shout for our rock and deliverer;

נְקַדְּמָה פָנָיו בְּתוֹדָה בִּזְמִרוֹת נָרִיעַ לוֹ׃

Nekadma fanav betoda, bizmirot nari'a lo.

let us come before Him with praise, sing to Him with hymns.

כִּי אֵל גָּדוֹל יְהוָה וּמֶלֶךְ גָּדוֹל עַל־כָּל־אֱלֹהִים׃

Ki El gadol Adonai, umelech gadol al kol elohim.

For the LORD is a great God, the great king over all divine beings.

אֲשֶׁר בְּיָדוֹ מֶחְקְרֵי־אָרֶץ וְתוֹעֲפוֹת הָרִים לוֹ׃

Asher beyado mechkerei aretz, veto'afot harim lo.

In His hand are the depths of the earth; the peaks of the mountains are His.

אֲשֶׁר־לוֹ הַיָּם וְהוּא עָשָׂהוּ וְיַבֶּשֶׁת יָדָיו יָצָרוּ׃

Asher lo hayam vehu asahu, veyabeshet yadav yatzaru.

His is the sea, He made it; and the land, which His hands fashioned.

בֹּאוּ נִשְׁתַּחֲוֶה וְנִכְרָעָה נִבְרְכָה לִפְנֵי־יְהוָה עֹשֵׂנוּ׃

Bo'u nishtachave venichra'a, nivracha lifnei Adonai osenu.

Come, let us bow down and kneel, bend the knee before the LORD our maker,

כִּי הוּא אֱלֹהֵינוּ וַאֲנַחְנוּ עַם מַרְעִיתוֹ וְצֹאן יָדוֹ הַיּוֹם אִם־בְּקֹלוֹ תִשְׁמָעוּ׃

Ki hu Eloheinu, va'anachnu am mar'ito vetzon yado, hayom im bekolo tishma'u.

for He is our God, and we are the people He tends, the flock in His charge. O, if you would but heed His charge this day:

אַל־תַּקְשׁוּ לְבַבְכֶם כִּמְרִיבָה כְּיוֹם מַסָּה בַּמִּדְבָּר׃

Al takshu levavchem kimriva, keyom masa bamidbar.

Do not harden your heart as at Meribah, as on the day of Massah, in the wilderness,

אֲשֶׁר נִסּוּנִי אֲבוֹתֵיכֶם בְּחָנוּנִי גַּם־רָאוּ פָעֳלִי׃

Asher nisuni avoteichem, bechanuni gam ra'u fo'oli.

when your fathers put Me to the test, tried Me, though they had seen My deeds.

אַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה אָקוּט בְּדוֹר וָאֹמַר עַם תֹּעֵי לֵבָב הֵם וְהֵם לֹא־יָדְעוּ דְרָכָי׃

Arba'im shana akut bedor va'omar, am to'ei levav hem, vehem lo yad'u derachai.

Forty years I was provoked by that generation; I thought, 'They are a senseless people; they do not know My ways.'

אֲשֶׁר־נִשְׁבַּעְתִּי בְאַפִּי אִם־יְבֹאוּן אֶל־מְנוּחָתִי׃

Asher nishbati ve'api, im yevo'un el menuchati.

Concerning them I swore in anger, 'They shall never come to My resting-place!'
