לַמְנַצֵּחַ אֶל־שֹׁשַׁנִּים עֵדוּת לְאָסָף מִזְמוֹר׃
Lamnatzei'ach el shoshanim edut le'Asaf mizmor.
For the leader; on shoshannim, a decree. Of Asaph. A psalm.
רֹעֵה יִשְׂרָאֵל הַאֲזִינָה נֹהֵג כַּצֹּאן יוֹסֵף יֹשֵׁב הַכְּרוּבִים הוֹפִיעָה׃
Ro'eh Yisrael ha'azina, noheg katzon Yosef, yoshev hakruvim hofi'a.
Give ear, O shepherd of Israel who leads Joseph like a flock! Appear, You who are enthroned on the cherubim,
לִפְנֵי אֶפְרַיִם וּבִנְיָמִן וּמְנַשֶּׁה עוֹרְרָה אֶת־גְּבוּרָתֶךָ וּלְכָה לִישֻׁעָתָה לָּנוּ׃
Lifnei Efrayim uVinyamin uMenashe, orera et gevuratecha, ulcha lishu'ata lanu.
at the head of Ephraim, Benjamin, and Manasseh! Rouse Your might and come to our help!
אֱלֹהִים הֲשִׁיבֵנוּ וְהָאֵר פָּנֶיךָ וְנִוָּשֵׁעָה׃
Elohim hashivenu veha'er panecha venivashea.
O God, restore us; show Your favor, that we may be delivered.
יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת עַד־מָתַי עָשַׁנְתָּ בִּתְפִלַּת עַמֶּךָ׃
Adonai Elohim Tzeva'ot, ad matai ashanta bitfilat amecha.
O LORD, God of hosts, how long will You be wrathful toward the prayers of Your people?
הֶאֱכַלְתָּם לֶחֶם דִּמְעָה וַתַּשְׁקֵמוֹ בִּדְמָעוֹת שָׁלִישׁ׃
He'echaltam lechem dim'a, vatashkemo bidma'ot shalish.
You have fed them tears as their daily bread, and made them drink great measures of tears.
תְּשִׂימֵנוּ מָדוֹן לִשְׁכֵנֵינוּ וְאֹיְבֵינוּ יִלְעֲגוּ־לָמוֹ׃
Tesimenu madon lishcheneinu, ve'oyvenu yil'agu lamo.
You set us at strife with our neighbors; our enemies mock us at will.
אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת הֲשִׁיבֵנוּ וְהָאֵר פָּנֶיךָ וְנִוָּשֵׁעָה׃
Elohim Tzeva'ot hashivenu, veha'er panecha venivashea.
O God of hosts, restore us; show Your favor, that we may be delivered.
גֶּפֶן מִמִּצְרַיִם תַּסִּיעַ תְּגָרֵשׁ גּוֹיִם וַתִּטָּעֶהָ׃
Gefen miMitzrayim tasi'a, tegaresh goyim vatita'eha.
You plucked up a vine from Egypt; You expelled nations and planted it.
פִּנִּיתָ לְפָנֶיהָ וַתַּשְׁרֵשׁ שָׁרָשֶׁיהָ וַתְּמַלֵּא־אָרֶץ׃
Pinita lefaneha vatasharesh sharasheiha vatmale aretz.
You cleared a place for it; it took deep root and filled the land.
כָּסּוּ הָרִים צִלָּהּ וַעֲנָפֶיהָ אַרְזֵי־אֵל׃
Kasu harim tzila, va'anafeha arzei El.
The mountains were covered by its shade, mighty cedars by its boughs.
תְּשַׁלַּח קְצִירֶהָ עַד־יָם וְאֶל־נָהָר יוֹנְקוֹתֶיהָ׃
Teshalach ketzireha ad yam, ve'el nahar yonekoteha.
Its branches reached the sea, its shoots, the river.
לָמָּה פָּרַצְתָּ גְדֵרֶיהָ וְאָרוּהָ כָּל־עֹבְרֵי דָרֶךְ׃
Lama faratzta gedereha, ve'aruha kol ovrei darech.
Why did You breach its wall so that every passerby plucks its fruit,
יְכַרְסְמֶנָּה חֲזִיר מִיָּעַר וְזִיז שָׂדַי יִרְעֶנָּה׃
Yecharsemena chazir miya'ar, veziz sadai yir'ena.
the boar from the forest ravages it, and creatures of the field feed on it?
אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת שׁוּב־נָא הַבֵּט מִשָּׁמַיִם וּרְאֵה וּפְקֹד גֶּפֶן זֹאת׃
Elohim Tzeva'ot shuv na, habet mishamayim ure'e, ufkod gefen zot.
O God of hosts, turn again, look down from heaven and see; take note of that vine,
וְכַנָּה אֲשֶׁר־נָטְעָה יְמִינֶךָ וְעַל־בֵּן אִמַּצְתָּה לָּךְ׃
Vechana asher nat'a yeminecha, ve'al ben imatzta lach.
the stock planted by Your right hand, the stem You have taken as Your own.
שְׂרֻפָה בָאֵשׁ כְּסוּחָה מִגַּעֲרַת פָּנֶיךָ יֹאבֵדוּ׃
Serufa va'esh kesucha, miga'arat panecha yovedu.
For it is burned by fire and cut down, perishing at the rebuke of Your face.
תְּהִי־יָדְךָ עַל־אִישׁ יְמִינֶךָ עַל־בֶּן־אָדָם אִמַּצְתָּ לָּךְ׃
Tehi yadcha al ish yeminecha, al ben adam imatzta lach.
Grant Your help to the man at Your right hand, the one You have taken as Your own.
וְלֹא־נָסוֹג מִמֶּךָּ תְּחַיֵּנוּ וּבְשִׁמְךָ נִקְרָא׃
Velo nasog mimeka, techayenu uveshimcha nikra.
Then we will never turn away from You; preserve our life that we may invoke Your name.
יְהוָה אֱלֹהִים צְבָאוֹת הֲשִׁיבֵנוּ הָאֵר פָּנֶיךָ וְנִוָּשֵׁעָה׃
Adonai Elohim Tzeva'ot hashivenu, ha'er panecha venivashea.
O LORD, God of hosts, restore us; show Your favor, that we may be delivered.
