תהילים פרק כ״ח

לְדָוִד אֵלֶיךָ יְהוָה אֶקְרָא צוּרִי אַל־תֶּחֱרַשׁ מִמֶּנִּי פֶּן־תֶּחֱשֶׁה מִמֶּנִּי וְנִמְשַׁלְתִּי עִם־יוֹרְדֵי בוֹר׃

LeDavid. Elecha Adonai ekra, tzuri al techerash mimeni, pen techeshe mimeni venimeshalti im yordei vor.

Of David. O LORD, I call to You; my rock, do not disregard me, for if You hold aloof from me, I shall be like those gone down into the Pit.

שְׁמַע קוֹל תַּחֲנוּנַי בְּשַׁוְּעִי אֵלֶיךָ בְּנָשְׂאִי יָדַי אֶל־דְּבִיר קָדְשֶׁךָ׃

Shema kol tachanunai beshav'i elecha, benose'i yadai el devir kodshecha.

Listen to my plea for mercy when I cry out to You, when I lift my hands toward Your inner sanctuary.

אַל־תִּמְשְׁכֵנִי עִם־רְשָׁעִים וְעִם־פֹּעֲלֵי אָוֶן דֹּבְרֵי שָׁלוֹם עִם־רֵעֵיהֶם וְרָעָה בִּלְבָבָם׃

Al timshecheni im resha'im ve'im po'alei aven, dovrei shalom im re'eihem vera'a bilvavam.

Do not count me with the wicked and evildoers who profess goodwill toward their fellows while malice is in their heart.

תֶּן־לָהֶם כְּפָעֳלָם וּכְרֹעַ מַעַלְלֵיהֶם כְּמַעֲשֵׂה יְדֵיהֶם תֵּן לָהֶם הָשֵׁב גְּמוּלָם לָהֶם׃

Ten lahem kefo'olam uchero'a ma'aleleihem, kema'aseh yedeihem ten lahem, hashev gemulam lahem.

Pay them according to their deeds, their malicious acts; according to their handiwork pay them, give them their deserts.

כִּי לֹא יָבִינוּ אֶל־פְּעֻלֹּת יְהוָה וְאֶל־מַעֲשֵׂה יָדָיו יֶהֶרְסֵם וְלֹא יִבְנֵם׃

Ki lo yavinu el pe'ulot Adonai ve'el ma'aseh yadav, yeharsem velo yivnem.

For they do not consider the LORD's deeds or His handiwork. May He tear them down, never to rebuild them!

בָּרוּךְ יְהוָה כִּי־שָׁמַע קוֹל תַּחֲנוּנָי׃

Baruch Adonai ki shama kol tachanunai.

Blessed is the LORD, for He listens to my plea for mercy.

יְהוָה עֻזִּי וּמָגִנִּי בּוֹ בָטַח לִבִּי וְנֶעֱזָרְתִּי וַיַּעֲלֹז לִבִּי וּמִשִּׁירִי אֲהוֹדֶנּוּ׃

Adonai uzi umaginni, bo vatach libi vene'ezarti, vaya'aloz libi umishiri ahodenu.

The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him. I was helped, and my heart exulted, so I will glorify Him with my song.

יְהוָה עֹז־לָמוֹ וּמָעוֹז יְשׁוּעוֹת מְשִׁיחוֹ הוּא׃

Adonai oz lamo, uma'oz yeshu'ot meshicho hu.

The LORD is their strength; He is a stronghold for the deliverance of His anointed.

הוֹשִׁיעָה אֶת־עַמֶּךָ וּבָרֵךְ אֶת־נַחֲלָתֶךָ וּרְעֵם וְנַשְּׂאֵם עַד־הָעוֹלָם׃

Hoshi'a et amecha uvarech et nachalatecha, ur'em venase'em ad ha'olam.

Deliver Your people and bless Your inheritance; tend them and sustain them forever.
