תהילים פרק קי״ח

הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה כִּי־טוֹב כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ׃

Hodu laAdonai ki tov, ki le'olam chasdo.

Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His steadfast love endures forever.

יֹאמַר־נָא יִשְׂרָאֵל כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ׃

Yomar na Yisrael, ki le'olam chasdo.

Let Israel say, 'His steadfast love endures forever.'

יֹאמְרוּ־נָא בֵית־אַהֲרֹן כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ׃

Yomru na veit Aharon, ki le'olam chasdo.

Let the house of Aaron say, 'His steadfast love endures forever.'

יֹאמְרוּ־נָא יִרְאֵי יְהוָה כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ׃

Yomru na yir'ei Adonai, ki le'olam chasdo.

Let those who fear the LORD say, 'His steadfast love endures forever.'

מִן־הַמֵּצַר קָרָאתִי יָּהּ עָנָנִי בַמֶּרְחָב יָהּ׃

Min hametzar karati Yah, anani vamerchav Yah.

Out of my distress I called on the LORD; the LORD answered me and set me free.

יְהוָה לִי לֹא אִירָא מַה־יַּעֲשֶׂה לִי אָדָם׃

Adonai li lo ira, ma ya'aseh li adam.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me?

יְהוָה לִי בְּעֹזְרָי וַאֲנִי אֶרְאֶה בְשֹׂנְאָי׃

Adonai li be'ozrai, va'ani er'eh vesonai.

The LORD is on my side as my helper; I shall look in triumph on those who hate me.

טוֹב לַחֲסוֹת בַּיהוָה מִבְּטֹחַ בָּאָדָם׃

Tov lachsot baAdonai, mibto'ach ba'adam.

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in man.

טוֹב לַחֲסוֹת בַּיהוָה מִבְּטֹחַ בִּנְדִיבִים׃

Tov lachsot baAdonai, mibto'ach bindivim.

It is better to take refuge in the LORD than to trust in princes.

כָּל־גּוֹיִם סְבָבוּנִי בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה כִּי אֲמִילַם׃

Kol goyim sevavuni, beshem Adonai ki amilam.

All nations surrounded me; in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

סַבּוּנִי גַם־סְבָבוּנִי בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה כִּי אֲמִילַם׃

Sabuni gam sevavuni, beshem Adonai ki amilam.

They surrounded me, surrounded me on every side; in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

סַבּוּנִי כִדְבוֹרִים דֹּעֲכוּ כְּאֵשׁ קוֹצִים בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה כִּי אֲמִילַם׃

Sabuni chidvorim, do'achu ke'esh kotzim, beshem Adonai ki amilam.

They surrounded me like bees; they blazed like a fire of thorns; in the name of the LORD I cut them off.

דָּחֹה דְחִיתַנִי לִנְפֹּל וַיהוָה עֲזָרָנִי׃

Dacho dechitani linpol, vaAdonai azarani.

I was pushed hard, so that I was falling, but the LORD helped me.

עָזִּי וְזִמְרָת יָהּ וַיְהִי־לִי לִישׁוּעָה׃

Ozi vezimrat Yah, vayehi li lishu'a.

The LORD is my strength and my song; He has become my salvation.

קוֹל רִנָּה וִישׁוּעָה בְּאָהֳלֵי צַדִּיקִים יְמִין יְהוָה עֹשָׂה חָיִל׃

Kol rina vishu'a be'oholei tzadikim, yemin Adonai osa chayil.

Glad songs of victory are in the tents of the righteous: 'The right hand of the LORD does valiantly.'

יְמִין יְהוָה רוֹמֵמָה יְמִין יְהוָה עֹשָׂה חָיִל׃

Yemin Adonai romema, yemin Adonai osa chayil.

'The right hand of the LORD is exalted; the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.'

לֹא־אָמוּת כִּי־אֶחְיֶה וַאֲסַפֵּר מַעֲשֵׂי יָהּ׃

Lo amut ki echye, va'asaper ma'asei Yah.

I shall not die, but I shall live, and recount the deeds of the LORD.

יַסֹּר יִסְּרַנִּי יָּהּ וְלַמָּוֶת לֹא נְתָנָנִי׃

Yasor yisrani Yah, velamavet lo netanani.

The LORD has disciplined me severely, but He has not given me over to death.

פִּתְחוּ־לִי שַׁעֲרֵי־צֶדֶק אָבֹא־בָם אוֹדֶה יָהּ׃

Pitchu li sha'arei tzedek, avo vam odeh Yah.

Open to me the gates of righteousness, that I may enter through them and give thanks to the LORD.

זֶה־הַשַּׁעַר לַיהוָה צַדִּיקִים יָבֹאוּ בוֹ׃

Ze hasha'ar laAdonai, tzadikim yavo'u vo.

This is the gate of the LORD; the righteous shall enter through it.

אוֹדְךָ כִּי עֲנִיתָנִי וַתְּהִי־לִי לִישׁוּעָה׃

Odecha ki anitani, vatehi li lishu'a.

I thank You that You have answered me and have become my salvation.

אֶבֶן מָאֲסוּ הַבּוֹנִים הָיְתָה לְרֹאשׁ פִּנָּה׃

Even ma'asu habonim, hayeta lerosh pina.

The stone that the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

מֵאֵת יְהוָה הָיְתָה זֹּאת הִיא נִפְלָאת בְּעֵינֵינוּ׃

Me'et Adonai hayeta zot, hi niflat be'eineinu.

This is the LORD's doing; it is marvelous in our eyes.

זֶה־הַיּוֹם עָשָׂה יְהוָה נָגִילָה וְנִשְׂמְחָה בוֹ׃

Ze hayom asa Adonai, nagila venismecha vo.

This is the day that the LORD has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

אָנָּא יְהוָה הוֹשִׁיעָה נָּא אָנָּא יְהוָה הַצְלִיחָה נָּא׃

Ana Adonai hoshi'a na, ana Adonai hatzlicha na.

O LORD, save us, we pray! O LORD, grant us success, we pray!

בָּרוּךְ הַבָּא בְּשֵׁם יְהוָה בֵּרַכְנוּכֶם מִבֵּית יְהוָה׃

Baruch haba beshem Adonai, berachnuchem mibeit Adonai.

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the LORD. We bless you from the house of the LORD.

אֵל יְהוָה וַיָּאֶר לָנוּ אִסְרוּ־חַג בַּעֲבֹתִים עַד־קַרְנוֹת הַמִּזְבֵּחַ׃

El Adonai vaya'er lanu, isru chag ba'avotim ad karnot hamizbe'ach.

The LORD is God; He has given us light. Bind the festival offering with cords, up to the horns of the altar.

אֵלִי אַתָּה וְאוֹדֶךָּ אֱלֹהַי אֲרוֹמְמֶךָּ׃

Eli ata ve'odeka, Elohai aromemeka.

You are my God, and I will give thanks to You; You are my God, I will extol You.

הוֹדוּ לַיהוָה כִּי־טוֹב כִּי לְעוֹלָם חַסְדּוֹ׃

Hodu laAdonai ki tov, ki le'olam chasdo.
